Researchers at the University of Roehampton England concluded, that those who fall asleep faster and wake up able to do the work faster, get the kids off to school, more vibrant and active in the workplace. Meanwhile, people who sleep late at night is more risky to feel depressed or stressed and overweight.
The researchers questioned 1068 people about their health and sleep habits. And, they found that people who wake up early the average starting activity at six o’clock in the morning, while those who like staying up late just started doing activities at nine o’clock.
On weekends, both groups enjoy about an additional hour under a blanket. Ordinary people began to move up in the morning at seven o’clock while ‘the night’ just woke up around ten o’clock.
“There is a ‘morning person’ and ‘night person’. Those who get up early tend to be healthier, slimmer and happier and have a lower body mass index,” said Dr. Joerg Huber in the British Psychological Society conference, as quoted by the Telegraph.
The survey also found that people who watch television a lot more likely to skip breakfast. So, if you want more slimmer and healthier, try wake up early and healthy lifestyle.
